Should Miley Cyrus be my role model?

She is so uber pretty i luv her hair and i want to get my hair cut just like her.
and she is so brave for taking all that crap from people about her twerking performance and still being who she is.
she's a great singer and i want to be a singer someday.
also all the boys seem to love her.
should miley cyrus be my role model? my parents say she shouldn't but i disagree.

How old are you? She didn't do anything good for people and as far as I know no boys like her. Plus it's sad how she drastically changed from kids show star to how she is now. A hero for a girl/woman should be someone like hope solo she's inspirational. I'm sorry I dont wanna come off as rude but a couple years from (maybe even less) she's gonna be a thing of the past. I just dont see Miley Cyrus as a role model but a woman who makes cookie cutter songs that people eat up. *sigh* poor Billy ray Cyrus.

There are so many reasons to why she shouldn't. But to be politically correct, no. But, your role model is your role model. If the role model helps you grow, and get out of your shell, then go for it.

There are better rolemodels out there. There are other great singers who are strong and who represent a strong girl like Christina Aguilera. In my personal opinion I wouldn't use her as a role model she just isnt the type of person I would want to end up like

Eh, if you feel like you can relate to her and look up to her then thats fine to look up to her! I don't personally agree with everything she does but I think people are overreacting to how she acts. She's no worse than Rihanna, lady gaga, etc.
