Drama classes and/or dialect classes are quite helpful. it will help to understand somebody, to enter with a vo company. also, the other girl that answered has no idea what she actually is talking about. once you find a voice acting, you can only audition for them, voice over sites in man. once you have reserved some work, you can put together a reel from your existing jobs. you usually DO NOT need to pay tens of thousands of dollars to "create" a fake reel. MOST voice actors come from a long time in movie and theatre, so arrive at class.

You mean, how do you get a foot in the door to even be considered for an actual audition for a real show as a voice actor? Hui hui. Try being a personal friend of someone like Tara Strong, Peter New, Jess Harnell, or the ten or so others who are securely in that industry. Getting into voiceover is tough tough tough, kid. Florida isn't the worst place to start from, but it's definitely not the greatest. If you seriously want to make a career out of it (ha! and about nine side jobs), you should consider moving to California or New York, but especially CA. Then, take some local voice acting classes from an accredited school. Sometimes, and actually fairly often, the teacher might have a little sway if he or she thinks you have extraordinary talent. Also, you almost never get a shot at voice acting right away. Usually, voice acting jobs or careers come about after years of working in film acting, music, or animation. The famous voiceover artists I've come across over the years all tell me that the single most important thing you need is connections. And an agent, once you can afford one. Good luck, and I'll leave you with one last thing to remember:

If you make it, let me know, huh? It's my life's dream to make it in voice acting.

To get better at singing I reccomend to follow an online course: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=541

It's much cheaper than going to a singning teacher and you can get really good results...I did that! I can suggest evens some singer tips if you wish...For example I reccomend to drink lots of water. Avoid drinking sodas so often! Always warm up. Vocal exercises. Try drinking this natural "clear the throat" remedy: Water, Lemon Juice, Salt,

voice acting is pretty much the same as real acting it doesn't matter about your voice (well it does a little) but mainly you have to actually know how to act if you don't then your voice is basically pointless

While some people seem to be born with inherently beautiful voices, even professional singers have to work hard and practice often to maintain their singing abilities. Read this article to learn how to become a better singer https://tr.im/LKqtk
