Hello all creative people:-) We are an a capella pop-jazz singing group of 5 (2 guys, 3 girls) and we can't come up with a good name! Could you please help us? It shouldn't have a 'jazz', 'a capella' or 'group' in it and it should be something classy. Thanks for your suggestions:-)

It has become a given that modern a capella groups have a slightly quirky name. Don't use any of these - they are already established groups, and a couple are professional ones.

Voices from the Vacant Lot, Cafe at the Gates of Salvation ( a gospel group and a play on Hitch hiker's Guide to the Galaxy's Restaurant at the End of the Universe), Spooky Men's Chorale (men only) Glass Slipper (women only).

When you have your next rehearsal, have a brainstorming session. Get a big piece of paper, or a white board. Have everybody make random contributions, and write them down. Something suitably weird will come up that describes exactly who you are.

Sorry, it's lame but when I think of Jazz and all that I just think of swinging. I love a capella groups though so good luck to ya.
