Question:
How is this vocal range for an untrained female?

Lowest note I can hit comfortably is D3, and it's a bit shaky but it's useable unless I have to hold it for a long time.
Highest note I can hit comfortably is a G5 I think, it's a bit strained but it's also useable unless I have to hold it for a long time.
Also, if these notes are a bit hard but not impossible, does that make my vocal range D3 - G5 or E3 - F5?
Thanks. (I tested my range with a professional voice coach, when my friend brought me to her lesson, and she said I'm a mezzo soprano.)

Yes you're a Mezzo soprano and your range is D3 to G5. Which is 2 octaves and 3 notes. This is pretty good if you can use it well. It's not the vocal range that matters but how you use it. Some people have amazing ranges but can't sing a note in tune. The average range for a person is about two octaves.

Hope this helps! :)
