if I wanted to make my own CD, what would I have to do?

I just wnted to make a personal CD. And I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get started, Full details please!

Create a new folder on your desktop by right clicking on an open space of it. Gather the songs you want to burn into the folder by copying to that folder. Next, right click and drag across entire folder and select send to whatever your cd drive is. when that folder opens, click on the file tab at the top and select make cd. Good luck.

to make a music video: get a camera of your own or from a friend...then you make the video while singing or you can add the music in after. if you want different parts of the video in different places then just record those pieces seperately...then upload your video/music to your computer by using a USB cord and plugging it from the camera to the computer...copy them to a file and then go to windows movie maker...next you go to the tips and help at movie maker and it tells you EVERYTHING!!! by no time you'll have it done...when your finished making it on movie make you press burn to cd or copy to cd.



to make a tape(not cd):

you buy a blank audio tape...they aren't records, cd's or movies! then you use a karaoke machine to copy you and even a piano/guitar by using the microphone to sing into and using the other microphone by putting it to the piano/guitar! then you have it...it makes a great gift for someone!



making a full c.d.($):

this one does cost a lot of money but it's the best quality...go to a recording studio! you can look up a recording studio in your area by using the yellow pages phonebook and you go there, pay them a little bit and they will take of the rest!



using a computer microphone and copying it to a cd:

there's two ways. you can either install a program(i dont what it's called) there's many music/cd/singing programs to buy for the computer!!! or you can go to movie maker(windows movie maker) and narrate one(you can even add music in the background(pre-made music) and narrate your song and again add it to a cd... ohhh...i am editing this, but do you mean to burn a cd? like not you singing?

Open either windows media player or itunes. Make a playlist of the songs you want. Put the CD into the drive. Right click the playlist and select "burn to disk".
