how can you be famous?

i really wanna catch up on my singing career and people say that i have a great singing voice.me and my friend ,we perform like once a month and all but i think i'm getting my confidence only because she is singing with me but i really want to be a solo singer ,not that i dont like her singing with me...i really want to sing solo

Nowadays, in this digital age, it is a lot easier to achieve success than it ever has been. The best thing to do, if you really are talented, then go on youtube and record covers of popular songs and do some orginals. Maybe play guitar or piano for some extra points. But it has to be consistent. After all that, it's about marketing. Post your videos on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Who knows? Some indie label may sign you and then it will take off. Success won't happen overnight however, these things take time. However, if it doesn't happen, then at least you can say you tried. Good luck!

You can make a YouTube Chanel for yourself and post your songs. Some people have actually became famous like this. Audition for one of the many singing shows that are out there such as American idol or the voice. Many people have become stars from that including a girl from my hometown!!! Work hard, pry, practice and put your name out there.
