I really love to sing, but these past few weeks I'm having troubles, i think it started when my band played and I sang really loud, I can still hit the notes pretty well, but the problem is I can't hit the high ones without having troubles, and sometimes, i find myself exerting effort just to speak after talking for long periods of time. I feel like something's stuck in my throat, i don't know if that has something to do with the cough I had 2 months ago. please help? i can't see an ENT right now coz I'm really busy.

im a pro singer too and to be honest had almost the exact same symtoms. it turned out to be nothing. your vocal chords are actually more sensitive than u think and any amount of long periods of singing can strain them or hurt them. when i gig i find the next day i feel rough and strained at the back of my throat an sometimes it feels closed up. u may not have fully recovered from your cough either if u havent rested properly or warmed your voice up correctly before singin. do get it checked anyway, it'l do u good but hopefully u dont have them xx

You should prioritize your health before what your busy on unless it is God, then put Him first
